Texas Transformers and Equipment Boosts North American Transformer Operations

Texas Transformers and Equipment (TTE) is expanding its supply chain and operational capabilities as demand for transformers grows across North America, driven by renewable energy, battery storage, data centers, manufacturing and grid modernization.

The Dallas-based company works with UL-certified manufacturing facilities in India to supply medium-voltage pad-mounted, substation and power transformers for the North American market. Its supply model is supported by a partner facility in Waco, Texas, which provides assembly, inspections, quality verification and delivery coordination.

The company said the approach is intended to provide greater scheduling flexibility and reduce delivery risks as utilities and developers face constrained production capacity and longer material lead times.

“By combining proven manufacturing expertise with US-based assembly capabilities, we can support demanding project schedules while maintaining the quality, reliability and engineering excellence our customers expect,” Sujay Ghuge, managing partner of TTE, said.

The company expects transformer demand to remain strong as investment continues across generation, storage, transmission and distribution infrastructure.
